Obtaining birth certificates for two children following unsuccessful attempts to prevent their issuance
Birth certificates were issued to two children; the first an eighteen month old child and the second, only three-months, following the objection and vigorous attempts by the parents of the two children to prevent their issuance from the Ministry of Interior. In partnership with the Ministry of the Interior, the PMF was successful in achieving this basic human right in line with the organization’s mission and role in achieving justice and protection for marginalized groups of women, children and the elderly.
